Music on but Nav screen off

I have tried several times to figure out how to turn the Nav screen off while listening to music. No luck, am I missing something simple?

I don't think it's possible. I'm able to do it with the Waze app though.

Interesting, I've been using Waze for years but never clicked on the music button, I'll try it tomorrow. Thanks

Waze doesn't work however I did figure out a way to turn off the screen while listening to music. Turn on music source and then hit "Setup" button. When the setup screen appears, look for the "Turn Off Screen" button the upper right.
