Need help with upgrades.

I just installed a new BOV that sounds really loud maybe a bit too loud. I wanted to know if anyone could help me with their take on a blow off valve on a Hyundai Veloster rally edition and whether I should replace it with a diverter valve instead. Alternatively would a computer tune fix the loud noise and possible boost lag from all the air being let out in the atmosphere? Thank you
